FBD’s Spicy Rice Pilaf:
– 2 cup brown rice
– Water (follow what the package says)
– Add 1tsp of chicken stock for every cup of water you add
– 1 tsp cayenne pepper
– 1/2 tsp garlic salt
– 1/2 tsp pepper
– 1/2 tsp chili pepper flakes
– 1 clove garlic chopped
– 2 tbsp onion chopped
– 1 celery stalk chopped
– 1/4 bell pepper chopped
1. Depending on the type of rice you use, the water amount will change. We used brown sticky rice and needed to add 1 1/4 cup of water for every 1 cup of rice. Add chicken stock to water then add rice to pot.
2. Add spices and chopped vegetables, garlic and onion to pot. Let simmer until rice is tender.
