This morning I decided to make a super healthy smoothie and I wanted to share :). Kale is a superhero in the leafy green world providing us with many benefits and a huge dose in Vitamin K. Here are just a few benefits:
– full of antioxidants
– anti-inflammatory benefits (my big reason for taking it)
– cancer fighting power
– cardiovascular health
– helps digestion
– huge amount of vitamin K and also contains vitamin A and C.
Berry & Kale Smoothie:
– 3 strawberries
– handful of blackberries
– 1/2 cup of blueberries
– 2 kale leafs
– 1 cup of ice (or more depending on how thick you want it)
